ThesisHub provides a guided research and thesis-development workspace designed to help users organize research, plan academic projects, develop outlines, manage research materials, create and review written work, collaborate with reviewers, and prepare projects for completion and export.

In this Privacy Policy, “ThesisHub,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the ThesisHub service. “You” and “user” refer to individuals who access or use ThesisHub, including students, researchers, reviewers, instructors, administrators, and institutional users.

You retain ownership of the original research, writing, academic materials, and other content that you create and submit to ThesisHub, subject to any rights belonging to third parties whose materials you use.

ThesisHub requires permission to process and store your content only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide features you request, maintain backups, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload or process through ThesisHub may lawfully be used, stored, and shared in the manner you choose.

5. Artificial Intelligence Features

ThesisHub may provide AI-assisted research features designed to support activities such as brainstorming, developing research questions, identifying keywords, organizing ideas, exploring research directions, and assisting with academic project development.

When you intentionally use an AI-assisted feature, information necessary to provide that feature may be processed by third-party artificial intelligence or infrastructure providers.

Users should not submit highly sensitive, confidential, restricted, or personally identifiable information to an AI-assisted feature unless they have determined that doing so is appropriate and permitted by their institution, research requirements, agreements, and applicable law.

ThesisHub is designed to assist the research process rather than replace the researcher. Users remain responsible for evaluating, verifying, editing, and deciding how to use AI-assisted suggestions.

6. Institutional Accounts

Some users may access ThesisHub through an institution, academic program, instructor, administrator, or other organization.

Depending on the applicable account and permissions, authorized institutional users may be able to manage rosters, create or assign research projects, invite students, review project status, or access information associated with institutional participation.

Institutions are responsible for determining whether their use of ThesisHub and the information they provide to the service complies with their own policies, contractual obligations, educational privacy requirements, and applicable law.

7. Research Participants and Sensitive Information

ThesisHub may contain tools that users can use to organize surveys, interviews, research notes, and related materials. ThesisHub does not determine whether a particular research project requires institutional review, ethics approval, informed consent, or other authorization.

Researchers are responsible for obtaining all required permissions and approvals before collecting, entering, uploading, or processing participant information or other sensitive research data.
